Power BI: Airline Loyalty Promo Analysis
I was tasked with exploring airline loyalty data from a regional Canadian airline to find insights into whether or not their tiered discount program was successful.
Beginning in April 2018, the airline announced plans to give a 10% discount for all tiers of their loyalty program on flights booked during the summer months. This resulted in a sizable bump in ticket sales.
The dotted trend line shows bookings from loyalty program participants from last year’s data compared to the current year data with the discount. This insight provided evidence that the discount program was a success and should be implemented in future loyalty-based promotions.
